Grounation 2012

The Jamaica Music Museum Grounation 2012 is based on the Rastafari Brethren’s concept of “reasonings or grounations”;

session where they would meet and pointedly discuss issues of the day. No topics were speared; they reasoned about,  music,

religion, politics both local and international, philosophy, etc.

Rastafari Brethren’s music heavily influenced Jamaica’s musical culture and once again we borrow from them.

The Jamaica Music  Museum Grounation will focus have five (5) focus sessions:

a) Dennis Brown – b) The music of the Wailers – Plantacrocy,

c) Bob Andy – d) Federation, Independence e) Lee Scratch Perry
