Mr Devon Hunter

 

Devon Hunter is the General Manager of Toucan. He has 10+ years of experience in media, marketing and sales. He was the Managing Director of the consulting firm Your Concierge Ltd. He also worked for two of the most recognizable Caribbean brands where he managed varied aspects of the marketing, communication and revenue generation needs through sponsorship properties such as West Indies Cricket, Caribbean Cup Football and the ICC Cricket World Cup. Devon has also had marked success as a sports and current affairs journalist, and most recently he was the host of a talk show on Hot102fm called The Evolution.

Ms Analisa Chapman

Analisa Chapman is an Attorney-at-Law with experience in Intellectual Property (IP) law, IP rights clearance and administration, and civil and commercial law. Called to the bar in 2005, Ms. Chapman has litigated in matters related to copyright and trade mark infringement, as well as negotiated on behalf of owners and users of musical works and other forms of IP. Prior to forming Chapman Law in 2009, Ms. Chapman was an IP Associate at Foga Daley and Co., where she was involved in the formation of the Jamaica Music Society (JAMMS) and worked closely with the Latin American division of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI). She is the legal consultant for Toucan Jamaica concerning the SERMAF All the Music Foundation project with a focus on advising and educating on matters related to intellectual property rights in the cultural industry. Ms. Chapman has been a speaker at music business forums conducted by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in association with the Jamaica Intellectual Property Office (JIPO), and by the Jamaica Music Society (JAMMS). Ms. Chapman’s passion for IP and the creative industries is complemented by her a background in theatre, entertainment journalism, ‘talk-radio’ and short-film production.
